There is depth in the Hawaiian language that transcends its meaning. The word kuahiwi brings a great sense of purpose and belonging. It comes with kuleana, or responsibility, to care for the land, ocean, and its inhabitants. We understand the concept of conservation and coexisting with the natural resources of this land.
To be in the outdoors, connecting with the land, whether it be hunting, fishing, or gathering. It's a way of life. A lifestyle where we are able to provide for ourselves and our families while fulfilling our natural instinct to survive.
How it Started
It all started with a passion for hunting and the outdoors. Creating this brand allowed us to turn this lifestyle into more than just a hobby.

Taxidermy
"In 2018, I started taxidermy as a hobby. When combining my interest and love for wildlife with a passion for art, taxidermy came naturally. Since then, I have been humbled by the amount of support from our local people as well as malihini. This provided me the rare opportunity to be able to do what I love full-time."
